College campuses are full of talent. Head over to an Open Mic Night and you are guaranteed to hear amazing music performed by someone unexpected. Here at Geneva College, there are five quality organized groups for musicians to join.
In celebration of their musical growth, two students will perform recitals. A junior piano recital will be performed by Zhang, Yu “Alice” on February 28 at 7 p.m. in John White Chapel and a senior voice recital by will be sung Annie Dawson on February 29 at 4 p.m. also in John White Chapel.
Geneva College Pittsburgh Campus and the Center for Urban Biblical Ministry host the Virtual Spring Music Conference on February 13 and 20, and March 13 and 20, 2021. The conference features noted speakers addressing aspects of music and music ministry, the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual worship experiences and their personal testimonies in a series of video conference sessions.
New Song, a music and drama ministry of Geneva College will launch their 22-performance concert tour on Thursday, June 24 at the Reformed Presbyterian Home, in Pittsburgh, PA. The tour will end Sunday, July 25.
The Genevans Choir performs in-person concerts for the Geneva College 2021 Homecoming and Family Weekend at the Alumni Awards Dinner on Friday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m. and in John White Chapel in Old Main on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m.
The Eight Bells men’s acapella singing group announces the return of the annual Eight Bells Concert, celebrating the 55th anniversary of the ensemble’s founding at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at the Bagpiper Theater.
The New Song group is a music and drama ministry sponsored by Geneva College.
